2008 was another exciting year for us. I keep thinking that things are going to slow down for our family, but each year proves just as full of changes as the last. Here's a little summary of the past year.
January: Started the year off living in Waco looking forward to a move to DFW
February: Closed on our house and moved up to Keller
March: Sarabeth turned 2
April: Josh & I went to Alabama for the CBAC annual convention (Nana & OG graciously kept the girls for us!)
May: Anabelle has tubes put in her ears (and FINALLY starts sleeping through the night!)
June: Anabelle turns 1
July: Josh and I go on vacation for a week (Nina & Papa graciously kept the girls this time!)
August: All 4 of us went to Houston to visit old friends
September: No real news to speak of
October: We celebrate our 5 year wedding anniversary; Josh was diagnosed with coarctation of his aorta and we started discussing surgery
November: Hosted Thanksgiving
December: Josh had surgery Dec. 15th, home by the 21st and we had MUCH to be thankful for as we celebrated Christmas!
It really was a fantastic year. We love our new community, neighborhood and church and feel very much at home here. We're enjoying every minute of the girls as they grow up before our eyes. I can't wait to see what 2009 has in store for us!
