I've realized that I've gotten really good at something: looking at a craft/finished product in a store and saying, "I could make that" but not actually doing it. Last month, Sarabeth desperately needed a new bath towel. Exciting, I know. She had this darling towel with cute trim and a hood and it was perfect, but a little worse for the wear. Once again, I found myself thinking, "I could make one of those!" This time I actually did it, and it turned out great! I've made several- 2 for my girls and others for presents. It's been a fun little project and a great gift for those new babies and baby showers. Here are the finished products, and more importantly, my beautiful models showing them off! I do have to give credit where credit is due- thank you, mom, for teaching me how to sew. I can only aspire to be as talented as you!
Here is your snapshot into our lives. Josh and I have been married for 7 years and have 3 little girls. Sarabeth is 5, Anabelle is 4, and Adelyn is 1. We live just north of Ft. Worth and are loving it. We've been here for 3 years and can't imagine living anywhere else at this point in our lives. We know we're right where God wants us!

Visit to Houston
It's almost been a whole year now since we moved out of Houston, and I've only been back to visit a couple of times. Josh goes back a few times a month for work and had to be there last week for 2 days, so I decided to bring the girls and join him. Besides getting a flat tire on I-35 on the way down there, it was a pretty good trip! On Friday night we got an old group of friends together who we used to meet with once a week for Bible study. There are now 5 children among us so it was really fun to see them all playing together. I'll post pictures later!

Out of the loop
It's been a while since I've posted anything new, so I'll quickly catch you up. We've been pretty good lately...no real news to speak of. Just taking life one day at a time and making sure everyone's happy along the way. It seems to be working! The girls are enjoying the summer and everything that comes along with it. Anabelle had a "first" today- I took her to get a haircut. It wasn't really getting long, it just looked a little scruffy. I've also heard that once you trim it, the hair will start to grow faster. She did great despite it being her naptime, which is why she looks dazed in the pictures. Other than that, not much to report :)
